Courtyard by Marriott Redwood City

I’ve stayed at this Marriott a couple of times when I’m in the area, and it’s conveniently located right off the freeway. The property is large, quiet, and feels safe. They offer garage parking, which I appreciate, though there is an additional charge on top of the room stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and overall the hotel is a solid choice. My only critique is the front desk experience. At check-in, the staff could have been more welcoming. I had an interaction where the associate was speaking more to her colleague than to me, which felt a little awkward, especially while I was standing right there in the middle of the check-in process. A warmer greeting would have gone a long way. Other than that, my stay was fine. The hotel itself was quiet, and while the coffee shop on-site was closed when I went downstairs early in the morning (even though they said it would open at 5), it wasn’t a dealbreaker. I just grabbed coffee elsewhere. Overall, this Marriott is my go-to when I’m in the area for an overnight or a couple of nights. It’s convenient, safe, and reliable, with nice rooms and secure parking.

Good hotel. Spacious lobby and bar/restaurant/breakfast area. Well appointed rooms. Really appreciate the convenience of on-site EV charging. Minor negatives: there are no businesses locally (other than car dealerships), so you need to take a 20-minute walk to downtown or drive for a bite to eat and/or entertainment. Also, in our room, the windows could not be opened and did not seal well, so there was a small but constant breeze of cool air from them (December).

The breakfast was very good. The hotel was clean. The gym was excellent. The only complaint is the 3rd floor ice machine was inoperable and it was a wild goose chase to find a working ice machine.

To the woman who checked us in, thanks so much for your warm and welcoming service. This Courtyard is superb. It looks new and modern. We love our clean and spacious suite as well. Thanks for a terrific stay!! We will be back soon.

I had a recent stay at your property. While not perfect with construction in lobby - hours of service and housekeeping missed cleaning our room. I want to commend Lawrence I checked in with my sister earlier in the day and explained to him she was going in for medical treatment the following day and feeling terribly. Without question Lawrence found us a room when the inventory of clean rooms ready for occupancy was very low. In addition I seen Lawrence to other times and he was very helpful. He is a great representation of your company! Thank you Lawrence!

One of Our Favorite Courtyard Properties! We absolutely loved our stay at the Courtyard Redwood City. We hadn't been here for a few years. From the moment we arrived and checked in, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality. Linda at the front desk in the morning was especially warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Kacey, with a wonderful positive personality at the restaurant went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience—breakfast was absolutely delicious, and I appreciated being able to take it upstairs after I dined first downstairs to my husband in our spacious and impeccably clean room (Room 419). The hotel itself is modern, well-appointed, and thoughtfully maintained. We also had the pleasure of meeting Jacqueline, the well-informed Area Director of Sales, who would be an excellent resource if you're considering hosting a meeting, event or intimate wedding (under 200 guests). The location is ideal—just south of San Francisco and right near Highway 92, making it easy to head to the coast or over to the East Bay. Highly recommended for both leisure and business stays. We'll definitely be back!

The place is recently renovated so the rooms are clean and still smell new. The hotel is not close to anything. So you need a car or uber to go anywhere.

Very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s coming to visit for vacation or work.
